Between Trento and Verona, the city of peace, festivals and museums

The town of Rovereto is 20 kilometres south of Trento, in the southern part of the Trentino-Alto Adige region of Italy. The town is overlooked by a castle, the main highlight of your visit to Rovereto, and also has a pleasant town centre to explore, since Rovereto still retains many parts dating back to the Middle Ages and the 19th century.

Many renowned guests have visited Rovereto over the years: Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart performed his first Italian concert in the Church of San Marco.

When the city becomes a stage: Rovereto has a calendar full of events, dance festivals, theatre plays and concerts. Meet new cultures and enjoy an international atmosphere at: Settenovecento, Oriente Occidente Dance Festival, the Mozartian Week and the International Festival of Archaeological Cinema.

Rovereto is the "City of Peace", as testified by the Bell of the Fallen. Cast with the bronze of the cannons of all the nations participating in World War I, it is the largest bell in the world to sound at full peal. Every evening at dusk, it’s 100 tolls are a testimony of world peace.

Do not miss beautiful museums of art, history and science, such as Mart, the Futurist House of Art Fortunato Depero and the Italian War History Museum.
